Code of Conduct

Some important rules for all attendees to follow

This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees and organizers of FelCon.

COVID-19 Precautions

  • All attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the maximum number of available doses at least 2 weeks prior to October 8th, 2021.

  • Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases since the announcement of FelCon, we are requiring a negative COVID test no more than 3 days prior to travel. COVID tests can be taken for free at many locations, including the following:

  • If for any reason you are unable to meet this testing requirement, please contact a FelCon organizer (Felicity, Arctyc, TC) at your earliest convenience.

  • Follow the mask requirements of any venue that we attend during FelCon. We highly encourage mask wearing even if it is not required by a particular venue.

Expected Behavior

  • Respect all attendees and organizers.
  • Many events will be shared with members of the public not attending FelCon. Please be respectful of these people, as well as the staff of any venues you attend.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and look out for each other. If you see something, say something.
  • Obey the local and federal laws of Tampa, Florida and the United States.

Harassment and Violence

FelCon is committed to providing a safe event for all attendees. We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment and violence including, but not limited to:

  • Stalking
  • Intimidation
  • Threats of violence
  • Assault
  • Photos or videos without consent
  • Disruption of events
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome physical attention
  • Inappropriate sexual, harassing, or offensive comments


We will not tolerate discrimination of any form, including offensive words, clothing, or actions regarding, but not limited to:

  • Race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, disability, appearance, religion, citizenship and pregnancy.


Do not participate in any activity that could be dangerous to yourself or others.

If anyone is found to be engaging in harassing or violent behavior, FelCon organizers will take action as necessary, including removal from all FelCon events.

Anyone can and should report harassment or violence to a FelCon organizer immediately. We will contact law enforcement if necessary.

Weapons

Weapons of any kind (real, replica, imitation, or otherwise) are not allowed at any FelCon event.

Drugs and Alcohol

Do not possess or consume any illegal drugs during the FelCon weekend.

Do not possess or consume alcohol at a FelCon event except in areas or venues where it is explicitly allowed.

Any person found to be under the influence of drugs, or alcohol at an inappropriate time or place is subject to removal from FelCon.

Drink responsibly.

Streaming, Photos, and Video

The conference portion of FelCon may be streamed by Felicity. We ask that you do not stream any FelCon events.

Photos and video are allowed, please get the permission of the people around you and respect their wishes if they do not want to be photographed or recorded.
